Heavy Traffic Slows Vehicles on Major Routes, While Emirates Road Remains Relatively Clear.

Dubai: Motorists travelling through Dubai on Thursday morning are experiencing significant traffic delays on several major highways, including Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), Al Khail Road (E44) and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311), according to traffic information from Google Maps.
Sheikh Zayed Road
Heavy congestion has been reported along Sheikh Zayed Road, with long queues of vehicles extending from the Oud Metha Road–Sheikh Rashid Road junction towards Defence Roundabout.
Additional traffic delays are affecting motorists approaching the Al Manara Street exit in the Al Safa area.
On surrounding roads, Sheikh Rashid Road (D75) is experiencing substantial congestion, while traffic is moving at a reduced pace along D88 through Karama.
Meanwhile, both directions of Al Safa Street (D71) are witnessing heavy traffic near City Walk and Dubai Mall, adding to the morning rush.
Al Khail Road
Motorists using Al Khail Road are also facing considerable delays, with heavy traffic extending from Meydan towards Dubai Hills Estate.
Additional traffic bottlenecks have been reported along Al Khail Road, particularly between Ras Al Khor and Dubai Design District, as well as near the Dubai Production City exit connecting to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311).
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road
Motorists travelling on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) are facing lengthy delays, with heavy traffic extending from Sharjah towards Mirdif.
Several stretches near Dubai International City and Global Village are also experiencing congestion, causing vehicles to move slowly.
Traffic conditions worsen again between Arabian Ranches and Dubai Production City, while significant congestion has also been observed in the Dubai South area.
Emirates Road
Compared with other major highways, Emirates Road (E611) is experiencing relatively smooth traffic flow during the Thursday morning commute.
However, motorists may encounter slower-moving vehicles along certain sections near Al Awir, Villanova and Arabian Ranches 3.
Drivers travelling during peak morning hours are advised to plan for additional journey time, remain alert and maintain a safe distance between vehicles to ensure safer travel amid heavy traffic conditions.
