Dubai Safari Park’s Opening Week, October 12–18, Features Safari Games, Interactive Workshops, Live Performances and Wildlife Encounters.

Dubai Safari Park officially welcomed visitors back on Monday, October 12, marking the beginning of its eighth season with a programme of family entertainment, interactive activities and wildlife experiences.
The reopening coincides with the school mid-term holiday, offering families an opportunity to explore the park and participate in activities during the break.
To celebrate the new season, the park is hosting its ‘Wildest Opening Week’ from October 12 to 18, featuring safari-inspired games, creative workshops, temporary tattoo stations and live performances for visitors of different ages.
Most of the opening-week activities will be held at the African Village Plaza Area, where children can visit the specially designed Little Explorers’ Base Camp.
The adventure zone will operate daily from 10am to 6pm, providing young visitors with a variety of hands-on activities and entertainment options.
Creative Workshops and Safari-Themed Activities for Children
One of the main attractions at the base camp is the Wild Creations Clay Station, where children can choose animal figures inspired by wildlife, including lions, monkeys and hippopotamuses.
Young participants can personalise their selected figures using individual painting kits equipped with paints and brushes, encouraging creativity through animal-themed artwork.
Another attraction, the Wild Ink Temporary Tattoo Station, will allow visitors to select from a range of designs inspired by safari animals and tropical environments.
Available designs include elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, animal paw prints and tropical leaves, adding a playful element to the park’s opening celebrations.
For children who enjoy more energetic activities, the Little Explorers’ Base Camp will also feature safari-themed inflatable attractions and oversized outdoor games.
Families can participate in popular games such as Connect 4, Jenga and Tic Tac Toe, offering opportunities for group entertainment and friendly competition.
Live Entertainment Celebrates the Park’s Reopening
Visitors can also enjoy ‘The Wild Welcome’, a 25-minute live stage performance organised to celebrate Dubai Safari Park’s return for its eighth season.
The show forms part of the opening-week entertainment programme, providing families with an additional attraction during their visit.

Safari Adventures and Wildlife Encounters
Beyond the special opening-week festivities, Dubai Safari Park will continue offering its regular wildlife experiences throughout the season.
Visitors can participate in drive-through safari tours, attend live animal presentations and enjoy opportunities to observe wildlife at closer range.
These experiences allow families to discover different animal species while exploring the park’s attractions and wildlife environments.
The Arabian Desert Safari Tour is included with every Dubai Safari Park admission ticket, allowing visitors to explore the park’s desert wildlife experience without purchasing an additional package.
Guests looking for a more extensive adventure can opt for the Safari Bundle, which includes access to the Explorer Safari Tour.
The Explorer Safari Tour takes visitors through spacious, open-range animal habitats, where they can observe wildlife such as lions, giraffes and rhinoceroses in surroundings designed to resemble their natural environments.
Premium Safari Experiences for Visitors
Dubai Safari Park also offers several exclusive experiences for guests seeking a more personalised wildlife adventure.
These include King of Safari, Behind the Scenes, Dine in the Wild and Jungle Capture, each providing different opportunities to explore the park beyond its standard attractions.
Depending on the selected experience, visitors can enjoy private guided tours, special access to designated areas and unique dining experiences close to wildlife.
These premium packages are designed to offer guests additional ways to discover the park’s animal habitats and attractions.
Daily Wildlife Shows and Educational Presentations
Throughout the season, the park will host a variety of daily wildlife presentations that combine entertainment with educational experiences.
Featured shows include Bird’s Kingdom, Echoes of the Wild and Birds of Prey, giving visitors opportunities to learn about different animal species, their behaviour and the importance of wildlife conservation.
The presentations aim to raise awareness about protecting animals and their habitats while providing engaging experiences for families and wildlife enthusiasts.
