Dubai records Dh1.2 billion in villa sales in Burj Khalifa area

Villa sale hits record Dh725m, while another property secures Dh471.3m mortgage.

Dubai: Dubai’s property market opened Friday with two major villa transactions in the Burj Khalifa area worth a combined Dh1.2 billion, including a Dh725 million sale.

According to data from the Dubai REST app, the villa sold for Dh725 million spans around 379,000 square feet, translating to an average price of Dh1,914 per square foot.

A second villa in the same area was mortgaged for Dh471.3 million. The property also spans around 379,000 square feet, with the mortgage amount working out to approximately Dh1,244 per square foot.

Together, the two villa deals ranked among the largest transactions recorded during the opening hours of Friday’s trading.

Dubai’s property market recorded sales worth Dh1.3 billion across 185 transactions in early trading, while mortgage transactions reached Dh684 million across 44 deals.

Gift transactions were valued at Dh17 million across 13 deals.

The latest transactions add to Dubai’s steady stream of high-value property activity, with luxury villas and large residential plots continuing to account for some of the market’s biggest individual deals.
