Dubai outdoor attractions: When are the city’s popular spots reopening?

Date:

When will Global Village, Miracle Garden and Dubai Safari Park reopen for the 2026–27 season?

Dubai: Some of Dubai’s most popular outdoor attractions are preparing to welcome visitors back, with several destinations confirming reopening dates in the coming days following their annual summer break.

The seasonal attractions typically close during the hottest months of the year, when high temperatures make outdoor activities less comfortable. The summer break also gives operators time to upgrade facilities, refresh existing attractions and introduce new experiences ahead of the cooler season.

1. Global Village Season 31

Global Village, one of the UAE’s most popular family destinations, will reopen on October 14 for its 31st season.

The Dubai attraction will welcome visitors throughout the cooler months, with the 2026–27 season scheduled to continue until May 2027.

Global Village wrapped up its 30th season in early May and is now preparing to return for Season 31 in October 2026.

The new season will once again offer several months of shopping, dining, live entertainment and cultural experiences, running through spring 2027.

First launched in 1997, Global Village moved to its current location in 2005 and has since grown into one of Dubai’s best-known seasonal attractions. Its international pavilions bring together cultures, cuisines, products and entertainment from across the Middle East and North Africa, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas and South Asia.

2. Dubai Miracle Garden Season 15

Dubai Miracle Garden will welcome visitors back for its 15th season on October 8, 2026, the popular attraction has announced.

The garden is preparing for its seasonal return with upgrades and renovations to its floral installations, along with millions of fresh blooms set to transform the attraction for the new season.

Spread across more than 72,000 square metres, Dubai Miracle Garden features more than 150 million flowers arranged in elaborate displays and large-scale floral structures.

Visitors looking for an indoor option can head to the neighbouring Dubai Butterfly Garden, which is fully air-conditioned and remains open during the summer months.

3. Dubai Safari Park Season 8

Dubai Safari Park will officially reopen for its eighth season on October 12, 2026.

The attraction is currently closed for its seasonal break, according to its website, with tickets for Season 8 expected to become available from October 2026.

The reopening will mark the return of one of Dubai’s major outdoor wildlife attractions as cooler weather brings the city’s outdoor season back to life.

The seasonal closure gives the park time to focus on animal welfare, including maintaining climate-controlled habitats and providing veterinary care during the hotter months.

The break is also used to carry out upgrades across the park, including improvements to wildlife villages, different zones and visitor experiences ahead of the new season.
