Dubai: Dubai and Abu Dhabi police will conduct separate strategic exercises at 9am on Thursday, November 5, urging residents to stay away from the designated locations and refrain from taking photographs or videos.
Dubai Police said its exercise would be held at Dubai Sports City’s Cricket Stadium in coordination with its strategic partners.
In a post on X, the force called on community members to cooperate with authorities, avoid the drill area and refrain from filming or photographing the exercise to ensure public safety.
Abu Dhabi Police also announced a separate exercise at 9am on Thursday in Al Dhafra, in coordination with its partners.
The force said the drill is aimed at assessing operational readiness and strengthening emergency response capabilities. Residents were urged to stay away from the exercise location and avoid taking photographs.
Both police forces advised the public to follow safety instructions and keep clear of the designated areas while the exercises are under way.
