DIB Launches Millionaire Account With Monthly Dh1 Million and Tesla Car Prizes for Savers

Date:

First DIB Millionaire Draw Set for December, Followed by Monthly Prize Draws.

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), the UAE’s largest Islamic bank, has launched the DIB Millionaire Account, a new savings product aimed at encouraging customers to build consistent saving habits while giving them opportunities to win major monthly prizes.

The new account supports the UAE’s broader vision of building a financially resilient and empowered society and reflects DIB’s efforts to promote responsible financial planning through innovative Sharia-compliant banking solutions.

Customers who open the Millionaire Account can participate in monthly prize draws for a grand prize of Dh1 million, as well as a Tesla Model Y. Both existing DIB customers and new-to-bank customers can qualify for the draws, with the first scheduled for December 2026 and subsequent draws taking place every month.

In addition to prize opportunities, the product operates as a Wakala-based savings account, with an expected profit amount credited to customers each month.

Eligibility criteria

Customers can qualify for monthly draw entries by maintaining the required average balance in their accounts. One entry is awarded for every Dh15,000 maintained as an eligible monthly average balance.

Savers can increase their chances by growing their balances, with bonus entries available for every Dh45,000 maintained as an average monthly balance or for transferring a minimum monthly salary of Dh10,000, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

The account also incorporates a sustainability element, with funds deposited through the DIB Millionaire Account allocated towards green and social financing initiatives as part of the bank’s responsible growth and sustainable finance strategy.

Sanjay Malhotra, Chief Consumer Banking Officer at DIB, said the account was designed to make saving more rewarding by combining financial discipline with opportunities for significant prizes and a broader social purpose.

He said the initiative gives one customer the opportunity to become a millionaire every month while connecting everyday financial decisions with responsible finance and positive social and environmental impact. The product also reflects DIB’s focus on offering Sharia-compliant banking solutions that create value for customers while contributing to a more sustainable future.

With the launch of the Millionaire Account, DIB aims to strengthen customer engagement and build long-term loyalty through relevant and value-driven banking products. The bank said the initiative also supports the UAE’s national priorities and its wider commitment to the country’s long-term sustainability agenda.

Further details on the account, eligibility requirements and applicable terms and conditions are available through DIB’s official website.
