Cops arrested gang of five for forging residency permits in Riyadh.

Dubai: A gang of five has been arrested in Saudi Arabic’s capital of Riyadh for forging residency permits, local media reported. They included 2 Pakistanis, 2 Syrians and a local citizen.

The assistant media spokesperson for the Riyadh region police stated that the security follow-up of the crimes of forgery and the tracking of their perpetrators resulted in busting a five-member gang.

The offenders were found to be involved in committing several crimes of forging residency and occupations permits, selling them to violators of the residency, work and border security regulations, with the aim of financial gain.

Upon being arrested, they were found in possession of 91 forged residence permits and were referred to the public prosecution for further legal actions.
