Expected Ramadan, Eid 2020 dates for UAE announced

The expected dates for Ramadan, Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha for 2020 have been issued.

According to Ibrahim Al Jarwan, member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Science, the holy month of Ramadan is expected to being on April 24, 2020 (Friday) – subject to the moon sighting on April 23.

Eid Al Fitr is expected to fall on May 24 (Sunday), 2020.

Based on astronomical calculations, Al Jarwan said that Eid Al Adha is expected to fall on July 31, 2020 (Friday).

The aforementioned dates are subject to moon sightings, and will be officially announced by the concerned authorities.
