Participating Residents Stand a Chance to Win Vouchers, Discounts and Other Rewards.

As the 10th edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) approaches, Dubai Residential has unveiled an ambitious target of one billion collective steps across its 21 residential communities, encouraging residents to embrace healthier and more active lifestyles.

The initiative aims to bring together more than 146,000 residents in support of the Dubai Fitness Challenge’s popular 30×30 programme, which encourages participants to complete 30 minutes of physical activity every day for 30 days.

Dubai Residential, which owns and manages one of Dubai’s largest residential leasing portfolios, is organising the initiative in partnership with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and Dubai Sports Council.

How can residents participate in the one-billion-step challenge?

Residents can join the initiative by downloading the fitze app, which allows participants to monitor their daily step counts and earn rewards for achieving fitness milestones.

Steps recorded between October 31 and November 29, 2026, will contribute towards the collective target of one billion steps.

The challenge is designed to motivate residents to stay active while working together towards a shared community fitness goal.

What rewards can participants win?

Residents taking part in the challenge will have opportunities to receive subscriptions, exclusive benefits and prizes throughout the month.

Complimentary Talabat Pro memberships

Talabat, the exclusive hydration partner for community fitness events during the challenge, will offer complimentary Talabat Pro subscriptions to residents and families attending the activities.

Careem Plus memberships for top performers

The highest-ranking participants will receive Careem Plus subscriptions based on their overall performance:

  • The top five participants will each receive a 12-month Careem Plus membership.
  • Participants ranked sixth to tenth will each receive a six-month Careem Plus membership.

Dh1 million in rewards through the fitze app

Participants will also have the opportunity to win prizes from a Dh1 million rewards pool available through the fitze app during the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

The rewards include international holidays, staycations, restaurant experiences, shopping vouchers and other prizes.

By combining physical activity with community participation and incentives, the initiative aims to encourage more Dubai residents to make daily movement part of their routine throughout the 30-day fitness campaign.
