Dense morning fog blankets parts of the UAE as forecasters warn of changing weather conditions nationwide.

Dubai: Thick fog covered several parts of the UAE early Friday, affecting visibility in some locations, while the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecast possible rainfall and dust-laden winds over the next four days.
According to the NCM, Friday’s weather will be generally fair to partly cloudy, with a chance of convective cloud formation over eastern regions during the afternoon, which could lead to showers.
Humidity levels are forecast to rise overnight and into Saturday morning, particularly in some coastal and inland areas, increasing the likelihood of fog or mist formation.
Winds are expected to remain light to moderate, initially blowing from the southeast before turning northwesterly. However, they may become stronger during periods of cloud activity, potentially causing blowing dust. Wind speeds will range between 10 and 25 km/h, with occasional gusts reaching 45 km/h.
Sea conditions are forecast to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
Rainfall possible across the UAE over the weekend
Saturday is expected to bring mostly fair to partly cloudy weather, with convective clouds potentially forming during the afternoon and producing rain in certain areas.
Humidity levels are likely to rise again on Saturday night and into Sunday morning, creating favourable conditions for fog or mist across some coastal and inland regions.
On Sunday, parts of the northern and eastern UAE could experience afternoon showers as rain-producing clouds develop. Moist conditions are forecast to persist overnight and into Monday morning, increasing the possibility of fog or mist in some locations.
The unsettled weather pattern could continue into Monday, with another chance of afternoon rainfall, particularly across eastern and southern parts of the country, as convective clouds build up.
Fog or mist may develop in some coastal and inland areas overnight and into Tuesday morning as humidity levels increase.
Winds are forecast to remain mostly light to moderate over the four-day period, occasionally picking up during cloud activity and potentially stirring up dust. Gusts could reach speeds of up to 40 km/h between Saturday and Monday.
Meanwhile, sea conditions are expected to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea throughout the forecast period.
