Dubai: Global Village is preparing to welcome visitors for its highly anticipated 31st season, with organisers unveiling a range of new attractions, entertainment experiences and visitor facilities ahead of its reopening.
The popular Dubai destination will officially reopen at 6pm on Wednesday, October 14, introducing several exciting additions for residents and tourists.
This season’s highlights include a brand-new roller coaster, two major entertainment shows, new dining experiences and a specially designed passport for children.
Visitors can also expect improvements to parking facilities, entry arrangements and several familiar attractions across the venue.
Here’s a closer look at what’s coming to Global Village Season 31.
Global Village Season 31: 29 Pavilions and New Passport Experiences
The upcoming season will feature 29 international pavilions showcasing more than 90 cultures, offering visitors an opportunity to explore traditions, products and experiences from around the world.
Shopping will remain a major attraction, with over 3,500 retail outlets offering a wide selection of merchandise, souvenirs, handicrafts and other products.
Several pavilions have undergone upgrades to enhance their appearance and visitor experience.
The Sri Lanka Pavilion and the Russia and Azerbaijan Pavilion have received refreshed designs, while the Syria and Kuwait pavilions will return with newly designed façades.
Another addition is the redesigned Season 31 Passport, which allows visitors to collect stamps as they explore different pavilions.
For the first time, a separate Kids Passport will also be available, giving younger guests their own interactive way to experience the destination.
Each pavilion will feature a dedicated stamping station, allowing visitors to collect stamps throughout their journey around Global Village.

Popular Global Village Attractions Receive Fresh Makeovers
Several well-known areas within Global Village have been redesigned ahead of the new season.
The popular Gardens of the World attraction will return with updated design features, offering visitors a refreshed setting to explore.
At the main entrance, the Cultural Gate has been enhanced with new LED lighting to create an updated visual experience.
The Sharjah tunnel leading into Global Village has also received a new theme, giving visitors a different experience as they approach the destination.

Meanwhile, the Dessert District has been upgraded with a redesigned façade, adding to the venue’s refreshed appearance for Season 31.
Global Village Season 31 Introduces New Restaurants and Cafés
Food lovers visiting Global Village Season 31 will have more than 250 dining options to explore, with several new restaurants and cafés joining the destination’s extensive culinary offerings.
Among the latest additions is Trabzon Turkish Restaurant, bringing Turkish cuisine to the popular Dubai attraction.
Meanwhile, three new dining concepts will open at Restaurant Plaza, offering visitors a wider variety of international flavours.
- Robo Al Sham: Specialises in Levantine cuisine, featuring dishes inspired by the culinary traditions of the region.
- Hawawshi Al Rabie: Introduces Egyptian food, offering visitors a taste of traditional Egyptian flavours.
- Chicking: A fried chicken restaurant chain serving its signature chicken-based meals.
Visitors looking for coffee, desserts and lighter refreshments will also have three new cafés to choose from.
The new additions include Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet and Uzungol Café, further expanding the destination’s food and beverage selection.

Global Village Carnaval: Over 200 Rides and Games
The popular Carnaval entertainment zone will return for Season 31 with more than 200 rides and games, catering to visitors of different ages.
One of the changes this year involves the Festival Wheel, which will feature redesigned passenger carts.
Tokyo Rush: New Roller Coaster Coming This Season
Thrill-seekers can look forward to Tokyo Rush, a new roller coaster scheduled to open later during the season.
The attraction will feature sharp turns and a loop, offering an additional high-energy experience for visitors.
However, organisers have not yet announced an official opening date for the ride.

One of the season’s two new anchor productions, Bollywood Idol, tells the story of two brothers who choose different directions in life.
While one brother dreams of achieving fame, the other concentrates on his education.
Their contrasting ambitions are explored through a combination of Bollywood-inspired music and dance, creating a theatrical experience built around family, dreams and personal choices.
Bank Heist: An Acrobatic Crime-Inspired Show
The second new anchor production, Bank Heist, is an acrobatic performance inspired by real-life crime stories.
The show combines a crime-themed storyline with acrobatic entertainment.
Meanwhile, the popular anchor show Slam will return for another season.

Visitors using VIP parking facilities will now be able to complete their payments through new self-service machines before reaching the exit.
The change is intended to make departures more convenient and reduce waiting times.
Additional Ticket Counters at Happiness Gate
The Happiness Gate will feature more ticket counters, helping accommodate visitors and potentially reducing queues during busy periods.
Improved Parking and Entrance Signage
New directional signs have been installed across parking areas to help motorists navigate the venue more easily.
Additionally, bilingual Arabic and English signs have been introduced at the Gate of the World, making it easier for visitors to find their way.

Organisers are also launching a WhatsApp chatbot, allowing visitors to request information and assistance directly through the messaging platform during their visit.
