Heavy Traffic Slows Motorists from Sharjah to Abu Hail and Across Major Dubai Roads.

Dubai: Accidents, ongoing roadworks and heavy congestion are causing delays across several major routes in Dubai on Wednesday morning, according to Google Maps traffic data.
Slow-moving traffic has been reported along Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), Al Khail Road (E44) and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311). Motorists are also facing busy conditions around Karama, City Walk, Dubai Mall and Al Awir.
Sheikh Zayed Road
Drivers travelling towards Dubai are experiencing stretches of slow-moving, bumper-to-bumper traffic along Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), with congestion building at several points on the route.
Commuters travelling from Sharjah towards Abu Hail are facing an extended stretch of heavy congestion. Traffic is especially slow around Zabeel Park and Defence Roundabout, where roadworks and accidents are contributing to longer journey times.
Further along the route, motorists are encountering moderate congestion around Umm Suqeim and Dubai Marina.
Sheikh Rashid Road (D75) is also experiencing heavy traffic, while vehicles are moving slowly along D88 through Karama.
Congestion has also built up on Al Safa Street (D71), particularly around City Walk and Dubai Mall, with delays affecting traffic in both directions.
Al Khail Road
Motorists using Al Khail Road (E44) are facing significant delays, with heavy traffic stretching from Meydan towards Dubai Hills Estate.
Congestion is also increasing around Ras Al Khor, with further delays reported near the Dubai Production City exit for motorists heading towards Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311).
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) is experiencing pockets of moderate congestion around Mirdif and near Global Village.
Traffic is also moving slowly between Motor City and the JVC exit towards Al Khail Road (E44), while motorists travelling through Dubai South are facing heavier congestion.
Emirates Road
Conditions on Emirates Road (E611) remain relatively smooth across most sections. However, drivers should expect an extended stretch of slow-moving traffic around Al Awir.
Motorists are advised to factor in additional travel time, keep a safe distance from other vehicles and use alternative routes where possible as the Wednesday morning rush continues.
