Fog and Mist Forecast Across Parts of the UAE This Weekend and Into Next Week.

Dubai: Temperatures are expected to climb as high as 44°C in some parts of the UAE on Thursday, with strengthening winds likely to cause blowing dust and rough conditions at sea. Fog and mist are also forecast to return over the weekend, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Thursday is expected to remain fair to partly cloudy, with clouds forming over eastern parts of the country and a possibility of becoming convective during the afternoon. Humidity levels are forecast to rise overnight and into Friday morning, particularly across some western areas.
Temperatures are expected to range from 39°C to 44°C across inland areas, while coastal regions and islands could record highs of between 34°C and 39°C. Mountainous areas are forecast to see temperatures ranging from 29°C to 35°C. Humidity levels along the coast could rise as high as 90 per cent.
Winds will generally remain light to moderate, although they may strengthen at times. Speeds could reach up to 40km/h along coastal areas and islands and 35km/h across inland and mountainous regions. Conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to turn rough by Friday morning, while the Sea of Oman could become moderate to rough at times.
Coastal temperatures to climb on Friday
Friday is forecast to be partly cloudy, becoming cloudy at times over eastern and southern parts of the UAE. Temperatures are also expected to increase in coastal areas.
Winds could strengthen to around 40km/h at times, potentially stirring up blowing dust. Sea conditions are forecast to be rough at times during the morning before gradually easing to moderate or slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Fog and mist possible over the weekend
Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected to persist across eastern and southern areas on Saturday. Humidity will increase overnight and into Sunday morning in some coastal locations, raising the possibility of mist.
Sunday is expected to be fair to partly cloudy. Humidity will build again overnight and into Monday morning, creating a chance of fog or mist across some coastal and inland areas. Winds could reach 30km/h, while sea conditions are expected to remain slight.
Similar weather is forecast for Monday, with another possibility of fog or mist developing over some coastal and inland areas overnight and continuing into Tuesday morning.
