From Hollywood Coasters to Real Madrid World: Family Fun Returns This Season.

Dubai: Get ready for rollercoasters, movie-themed adventures, football experiences, LEGO attractions and family-friendly competition as Dubai Parks and Resorts prepares to reopen on October 7, 2026, for a new season of rides, games and entertainment.
The wait is nearly over as one of Dubai’s biggest entertainment destinations gets ready to welcome visitors back for another season of thrills, immersive attractions and family experiences.
From October 7, guests will once again be able to explore MOTIONGATE™ Dubai, Real Madrid World, LEGOLAND® Dubai Resort and The World of Riverland™, bringing a wide range of attractions together at one destination.
The reopening also comes ahead of the October mid-term break, offering families another entertainment option during the school holiday period.
First stop: Hollywood
For visitors looking to combine theme-park thrills with movie magic, MOTIONGATEâ„¢ Dubai offers a Hollywood-inspired experience featuring 29 rides and attractions across worlds based on DreamWorks Animation, Columbia Pictures and Lionsgate.
Thrill-seekers can race through the darkness on Madagascar Mad Pursuit, take to the skies alongside Hiccup and Toothless on Dragon Gliders, or experience The Hunger Games – Capitol Bullet Train.
The park also features themed worlds inspired by family favourites including Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and The Smurfs, offering plenty of options for families with different movie favourites.
Football fever
Football fans can experience a different kind of theme-park adventure at Real Madrid World, which brings the club’s history, achievements and fan culture to life through more than 40 attractions and experiences.
Those looking for an adrenaline rush can take on the Hala Madrid Coaster, while Stars Flyer lifts visitors 460 feet above the park for sweeping views of the destination.
Fans can also explore the Bernabéu Experience, test their skills at the La Fábrica Training Pitch, and get closer to the world of football through Meet the Stars.
Visitors can easily spend the day talking football, testing their skills and taking on football-themed attractions, making Real Madrid World an immersive experience for fans of the sport.
The place to settle some friendly rivalries
For those who prefer competition without the towering drops and high-speed thrills of rollercoasters, The World of Riverlandâ„¢ offers a wide range of interactive activities.
This season, the entertainment hub is expanding its line-up with a new bowling experience and Lamborghini Automobili Racing Simulators.
Guests can also take on go-karting, archery, axe throwing and shooting challenges, put their problem-solving skills to the test at Perplex City and The Hidden Chamber, play a round of mini golf, or head indoors to Neon Galaxy for arcade games and other entertainment.
The new Lamborghini Automobili Racing Simulators add another competitive element to Riverland, giving friends and families the chance to race against one another and challenge each other for the fastest time.
Spread across French Village, Boardwalk, Sports Boulevard and The Peninsula, The World of Riverland™ also features a variety of restaurants, cafés and outdoor spaces, allowing visitors to combine games and activities with dining and an evening out.
With entry starting from Dh25, it also provides an accessible way to experience the destination without committing to a full day at one of the theme parks.
LEGO, water slides and a family sleepover
For younger visitors and families, LEGOLAND® Dubai Resort combines three popular attractions in one destination: rides, LEGO-themed experiences and water-based fun.
LEGOLAND® Dubai Theme Park features more than 40 rides and attractions, while LEGOLAND® Water Park offers 20 slides and water attractions designed with families and younger visitors in mind.
Children can explore a mix of interactive play areas, LEGO-building activities, rides and MINILAND, providing a full day of entertainment for young LEGO enthusiasts.
Families looking to extend their visit can stay overnight at the LEGOLAND® Hotel or opt for the prehistoric-themed T-REX Glamping experience.
For visitors seeking a more traditional resort stay, Lapita, Dubai Parks and Resorts, Autograph Collection offers Polynesian-inspired accommodation within the destination, providing convenient access to the surrounding parks and attractions.
So, what kind of day are you planning?
One of the main attractions of Dubai Parks and Resorts is the variety of experiences available within a single destination, allowing visitors to tailor their day around different interests.
Thrill-seekers can explore Hollywood-inspired rides at MOTIONGATE™ Dubai, football fans can immerse themselves in Real Madrid World, and families with younger children can enjoy the attractions at LEGOLAND® Dubai Resort. Visitors can then come together at The World of Riverland™ for dining, games and entertainment.
The destination also offers flexibility in how visitors plan their trip, whether it is a short evening of games and dining, a full day exploring the theme parks, or an extended visit combined with a staycation.
