Morning Rush Brings Heavy Traffic on E11 and E311 Between Sharjah and Dubai

Date:

Heavy Traffic Builds Around Al Nahda, Al Khan, Al Qusais and Sharjah Entry Routes.

Dubai: Morning traffic is intensifying along the main routes connecting Sharjah and Dubai, with particularly heavy congestion on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) and Al Ittihad Road (E11) as commuters travel towards Dubai.

Live traffic data from Google Maps indicates slow-moving traffic around the Sharjah approaches, Al Nahda, Al Khan and nearby industrial areas. Delays are also extending towards Al Qusais and Dubai International Airport.

In Sharjah, motorists travelling on E11 can expect slower traffic around Al Khan and Al Nahda, as well as on connecting roads leading towards the Dubai border.

Traffic on Al Taawun Street is also being affected by a partial road closure and diversion associated with the Al Taawun Tunnel project. Motorists travelling towards Dubai and Al Nahda Bridge are being redirected through Al Corniche Street.

On Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311), motorists can expect congestion around the Sharjah approaches and stretches serving Muhaisnah and Al Qusais.

Commuters travelling from Sharjah towards Dubai are advised to factor in additional travel time, especially during the morning rush hour. Recent traffic trends indicate prolonged slowdowns along both E11 and E311, with congestion affecting several sections of the two major corridors rather than being concentrated at a single bottleneck.

In Dubai, traffic is generally flowing more smoothly away from the main routes used by commuters travelling from Sharjah. However, motorists may still encounter slower-moving traffic around Al Qusais, Dubai International Airport, and roads connecting to E11 and E311.

Traffic data also indicates congestion along parts of Sheikh Zayed Road, where drivers may experience delays during the morning rush.
