The 23rd edition brings together exhibitors from 71 countries and runs through September 6.
The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026 opened on Friday, bringing together thousands of exhibitors, experts and enthusiasts from around the world.
Held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, the 23rd edition is taking place at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
Organised by ADNEC Group, part of Modon, in strategic partnership with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, the 10-day exhibition will run until September 6.
This year’s edition brings together a record 2,405 companies, brands and exhibitors from 71 countries, including participants from six countries making their debut at the event.
The exhibition spans 107,000 square metres, marking a 17 per cent increase in its footprint compared with the previous edition.
15 specialised sectors
ADIHEX brings together 15 specialised sectors covering falconry, equestrianism, hunting and safari tourism, veterinary products and services, environmental conservation, cultural heritage, traditional arts and handicrafts, camping, recreational vehicles, fishing and marine sports.
The exhibition will also feature live demonstrations, cultural activities, competitions and interactive experiences designed to appeal to visitors across different age groups.
The exhibition is also highlighting new technologies and products focused on outdoor activities, animal healthcare and environmental conservation.
This year’s exhibition features 55 local and international falcon-breeding farms, up 20 per cent from the previous edition, with nine farms participating for the first time.
Eight falcon auctions are also being held as part of this year’s programme, with four taking place ahead of the exhibition and four more during the event.
Heritage meets innovation
ADIHEX seeks to showcase the UAE’s traditions in hunting, falconry and equestrianism while introducing younger generations and international visitors to the country’s rich cultural heritage.
Falconry remains a central feature of the exhibition, reflecting its deep-rooted place in Emirati culture while promoting responsible practices and wildlife conservation.
The equestrian section highlights the importance of horses in Arab culture, while the environmental conservation and cultural heritage sectors showcase initiatives focused on protecting natural resources and preserving traditional practices.
Other sections of the exhibition cover safari tourism, camping, outdoor travel, marine activities and traditional crafts.
The event also serves as a platform for companies, experts and organisations to exchange knowledge, explore partnerships and present new products and services.
ADIHEX 2026 will run at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi until September 6.
