Dubai: A parked truck rolled away and collided with several vehicles in Saudi Arabia’s Abha on Sunday after it was reportedly not properly secured, according to traffic authorities.
The General Traffic Department in the Asir Region said officers responded to the incident after the stationary truck unexpectedly began moving and struck multiple vehicles nearby.
Authorities said the accident occurred because the truck had not been properly secured while parked, allowing it to roll away and collide with several vehicles. No injuries were reported, although multiple vehicles were damaged in the incident.
Traffic authorities carried out the required procedures at the scene and took steps to manage traffic following the collision.
