On the Sharjah side, E88 Al Dhaid Road is generally moving, although pockets of orange and red traffic are visible around the S128 interchange and on approaches near Sharjah Library and Nad Wasit.
These bottlenecks could cause delays for motorists entering or leaving E88, particularly at points where local traffic merges with the main highway.
E11 Al Ittihad Road is experiencing more significant delays, with red and orange sections visible around the Al Khan and Al Mamzar approaches. Traffic is also slowing towards the Dubai-Sharjah border, creating a key pressure point for commuters travelling from Sharjah into Dubai.
The congestion could also spill over onto nearby access roads as traffic builds around the interchanges.
Further east, E311 Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road is also seeing heavy congestion. Google Maps shows several red stretches, particularly around major junctions linking Sharjah’s Industrial Areas with Dubai.
Traffic is especially slow near the connections with S112 and S116, while sections of E311 north and south of these junctions are moving relatively faster.
For motorists travelling from Sharjah to Dubai this morning, E11 appears to be the more difficult route around Al Khan and Al Mamzar, while E311 is facing significant delays near the Sharjah industrial-area interchanges. E611 could provide an alternative for some journeys, depending on the destination, but motorists are advised to check live traffic conditions before changing routes.
Commuters heading towards Deira, Al Twar and other parts of Dubai should be prepared for delays after crossing the Dubai-Sharjah border, particularly around busy exits during the morning peak.
