Tradewill strengthens UAE presence with CMA Category 5 licence approval

Date:

The approval represents a significant milestone in Tradewill Group’s global expansion strategy.

Tradewill Financial Services L.L.C SOC (“Tradewill UAE”), the UAE entity behind the Trade W brand, has secured a Category 5 Licence from the UAE Capital Market Authority (CMA), marking a key step in the group’s international expansion strategy and strengthening its presence in the UAE.

The licence represents Tradewill Group’s official entry into one of the Middle East’s fastest-growing financial markets. It allows Tradewill UAE to carry out regulated financial promotion and client introduction activities in the country, in line with applicable regulatory requirements.

Through the Trade W brand and its trading ecosystem, eligible UAE-based clients may be connected with affiliated group entities operating under their respective regulatory frameworks and providing trading services.

Trade W, the flagship multi-asset trading brand of Tradewill Group, provides access to global financial markets through its proprietary technology and digital trading platforms. Available on WebTrader, mobile applications, MT4 and MT5, the platform offers more than 100 CFD instruments across categories including forex, commodities, indices, shares and cryptocurrencies.

As of June 2026, Trade W serves over 6 million active users across more than 50 regions worldwide, processing approximately USD 70 billion in monthly trading volume. The brand focuses on providing traders with advanced tools, accessible technology and opportunities for sustainable growth in global markets.

Davy Lee, Chief Compliance Officer of Trade W, said the CMA Category 5 Licence marks a significant achievement for the group and supports the continued growth of the Trade W brand across the Middle East.

He highlighted that the UAE’s growing role as a global financial hub presents opportunities for innovation, investment and wider market participation. Lee added that Trade W aims to engage with the local market through its licensed UAE operations while continuing to deliver secure, accessible and technology-focused trading solutions to traders worldwide.
