Affordable private boat rides return, offering 30- or 60-minute trips for up to eight passengers.

Dubai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the resumption of its popular tourist electric abra service at Al Mamzar Station, offering residents and visitors another way to explore the area’s latest leisure attractions.
The service, which was temporarily suspended due to development works in the vicinity, has now resumed operations, according to an update shared by RTA on its official Instagram account.
The authority said the electric abra provides a distinctive and leisurely experience, allowing passengers to cruise between some of Dubai’s newest entertainment and leisure destinations while enjoying panoramic views of the skyline and waterfront.
The service operates daily from 4pm to 11pm, with the last trip departing at 10:15pm. A 30-minute ride costs Dh60, while a one-hour journey is priced at Dh120. Both fares apply to the entire boat, which can accommodate up to eight passengers.
The return of the electric abra service is part of RTA’s wider efforts to enhance Dubai’s tourism and leisure transport options, supporting the emirate’s ongoing push to diversify the ways residents and visitors can explore its waterfront destinations and coastal attractions.
