Dubai: If you’ve been waiting to buy something, today could be the perfect opportunity. Dubai’s summer shopping season has kicked off with a 12-hour flash sale, running until 10pm tonight.
Taking place on Thursday, July 2, from 10am to 10pm, the event offers discounts of up to 90% across more than 100 brands. It marks the opening promotion of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), which runs through the end of August, making it the first major shopping event of the season.

The 12-hour sale is taking place across Majid Al Futtaim’s malls. Shoppers can find participating offers at:

- City Centre Mirdif
- City Centre Deira
- City Centre Me’aisem
- My City Centre Al Barsha
- City Centre Shindagha
- Mall of the Emirates
- City Centre Mirdif
- City Centre Deira
A few other locations are also taking part, but these three are expected to be the main shopping destinations.
What to expect
The headline offer is discounts of up to 90%, with the biggest savings typically available on clearance and end-of-season stock. Fashion and footwear are likely to feature the deepest discounts, while electronics and beauty products are expected to offer more modest—but still worthwhile—deals.

There’s an added incentive for shoppers. Spend Dh300 or more at participating stores today at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, or City Centre Deira, and you can enter a raffle for the chance to become a SHARE Millionaire.
To qualify, register your purchases through the SHARE app and keep your receipts until the draw.
