A new Aster initiative seeks to reshape women’s healthcare in the UAE.

The programme offers personalized medical support throughout every stage of a woman’s life.

Dubai: Aster DM Healthcare has launched a new women’s health programme in the UAE designed to support women through every stage of life, from adolescence to menopause and beyond.

The healthcare group has introduced ‘Care for Her’ under Aster Hospitals & Clinics, along with ‘Elle by Medcare’, a premium offering available through Medcare Hospitals & Clinics across the country.

The initiative combines preventive care, early detection, specialist consultations, and long-term wellness support under a single umbrella, which the company describes as one of the region’s most comprehensive women’s healthcare programmes.

Addressing gaps in women’s healthcare, Alisha Moopen, Managing Director and Group CEO of Aster DM Healthcare, said many women find it difficult to access appropriate medical guidance while balancing work, family responsibilities, and demanding lifestyles.

“In today’s fast-paced world, many women delay seeking the right care because they lack proper guidance or support,” she said.

She added that the programme is designed to create a connected network of doctors and specialists who can support women at every life stage—whether it is a mother guiding her teenage daughter through adolescence, a woman navigating pregnancy, or someone experiencing menopause.

“Women are natural decision-makers. Looking after their health is an extension of that strength. This programme is about helping women better understand their bodies, make informed decisions, and support the women around them,” Moopen said.

Care designed around life stages
The programme adopts an age-based approach, focusing on four key phases of a woman’s life: the teens and twenties, young adulthood, perimenopause, and menopause.

Each phase includes customized screenings, specialist consultations, and treatment plans that address physical, hormonal, emotional, and metabolic health needs.

The services include hormone replacement therapy, mental health counselling, and specialised care for thyroid disorders, reproductive health, sexual wellness, and metabolic conditions.

Services across the UAE
‘Care for Her’ will be available at Aster Hospital Al Mankhool and Aster Hospital Al Qusais, as well as several Aster Clinics across Dubai, including Bur Dubai, Muteena, Discovery Gardens, Arabian Ranches, and Al Khail.

Meanwhile, ‘Elle by Medcare’ will provide a more personalised experience through Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital, Medcare Women & Children Hospital, Medcare Hospital Sharjah, Medcare Sheikh Saqr Al Qasimi Hospital, and selected Medcare medical centres.

Women enrolled in the programme will begin with a consultation with a gynaecologist and may then be referred to specialists in endocrinology, cardiology, dermatology, internal medicine, or mental health, depending on their needs.

New clinics for underserved areas
As part of the initiative, Aster DM Healthcare will also launch dedicated Adolescence and Menopause Clinics, targeting two stages of women’s health that are often overlooked.

The company said these specialised centres will offer safe spaces for education, early intervention, and long-term health planning.

Aster maintains that women’s health should not be viewed as a series of isolated conditions, but as a continuous journey that changes across life stages. Through this programme, the group aims to close a key gap in the healthcare system by delivering structured, personalised, and lifelong care for women.
