Al Ain crush Al Jazira to win President’s Cup and complete domestic double.

League champions cap off the season in style with a 4-1 rout of their rivals.

Al Ain FC produced a commanding performance to win the 49th UAE President’s Cup, crushing regional rivals Al Jazira Club 4-1 in an entertaining final at Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium on Saturday, bringing the curtain down on the 2025-26 football season.

The emphatic victory secured Al Ain’s eighth President’s Cup title and completed a remarkable domestic double, just weeks after clinching their 15th UAE Pro League championship.

Al Jazira stunned the champions early when Nabil Fekir curled home a superb free kick from the edge of the box in the 11th minute. But the lead lasted only four minutes as Al Ain star Soufiane Rahimi led the response with a composed equaliser.

Rahimi struck again in the 20th minute with a powerful effort to put Al Ain ahead and leave Al Jazira rattled. The league champions maintained control throughout the first half, and Abdul Karim Traore added a third goal in the 44th minute to give his side a commanding advantage heading into the break.

Al Jazira pushed for a way back into the contest after the break, but Al Ain’s disciplined defence stood firm before Erik Jorgens put the result beyond doubt, calmly slotting home a fourth goal deep into stoppage time to spark jubilant celebrations in the capital.
