Emergency response teams have been deployed across beaches, shopping malls, and Eid prayer grounds to ensure public safety during the holiday period.

National Ambulance UAE has announced full operational readiness ahead of the upcoming Eid Al Adha holiday, with enhanced emergency coverage across crowded public areas in the Northern Emirates.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the authority said it has activated a comprehensive preparedness plan to ensure rapid response to emergency cases and the timely delivery of lifesaving ambulance services throughout the holiday period.

Operating under the Federal Authority for Ambulance and Civil Defence, National Ambulance UAE said its Eid preparedness plan prioritises increasing the deployment of ambulance teams in areas expected to experience high public turnout during Eid celebrations.

These locations include mosques and Eid prayer grounds, slaughterhouses, beaches, public parks, shopping malls, and major tourist attractions.

The authority also confirmed that it has conducted a series of coordination and preparedness meetings with strategic partners, including Police General Headquarters across the Northern Emirates, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen inter-agency cooperation and enhance public safety readiness during the holiday period.

National Ambulance UAE urged the public to follow safety precautions and drive carefully, especially during peak traffic hours, in order to reduce the risk of accidents and medical emergencies.

It also emphasized the importance of close supervision of children during Eid celebrations and recreational activities.

Members of the public were reminded to contact the emergency ambulance number 998 in case of urgent medical situations requiring immediate medical intervention.
