The Arab music icon will bring his most popular hits and emotional ballads to the stage in Dubai.

Majid Al Mohandis is set to perform live at Coca-Cola Arena on May 29 as part of a special Eid concert in Dubai.

Widely regarded as one of the Arab world’s most popular singers, Majid Al Mohandis has built a career spanning more than three decades, earning a strong fan base through emotional ballads, smooth vocals, and romantic lyrics.

Born in Baghdad as Majid Abd al-Amir Adir al-Attabi, he initially studied engineering before turning to music full-time—a choice that earned him the nickname “Al Mohandis” (“The Engineer”). His early journey included various jobs, including tailoring, while he pursued music despite initial family opposition.

Today, he is considered one of the region’s iconic performers, often referred to by fans as the “Voice of Diamond” for his distinctive singing style.

Over the years, Majid Al Mohandis has released several popular songs that have become favourites among Arabic music fans, including Hattan, Ana Blayak, Tihibak Rohy, Al Fatena, and Akh Qalby. His live performances are known for their emotional intensity, with audiences often singing along throughout his concerts.

In addition to his music career, he has also appeared on major television talent shows, including Arab Idol. He later served as a judge on Saudi Idol, alongside artists such as Ahlam and Assala Nasri.

His upcoming Eid concert at Coca-Cola Arena is expected to draw fans from across the United Arab Emirates for an evening of live performances, nostalgia, and his most popular hits.

Tickets for the show are currently on sale.
