Saudi Arabia strongly condemned what it described as the “treacherous targeting” of the territorial lands and waters of the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Kuwait, reaffirming its solidarity with the Gulf states and support for measures to safeguard their security and stability.
In a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom called for an immediate end to attacks on Gulf territories and territorial waters, rejected any attempts to close the Strait of Hormuz or disrupt international shipping lanes, and stressed the need to protect international maritime passages in line with international law.
