Abu Dhabi: Anwar Gargash said the UAE has shown a high level of preparedness and strong national cohesion despite regional and global challenges, stressing that the country remains determined to continue its path of progress and prosperity with confidence.

He made the remarks during a session hosted by the Federal Youth Authority as part of its “100 Mentors” programme.

During the discussion, he reflected on the foundations of the UAE’s political and diplomatic experience, highlighting the principles that have shaped the country’s international presence and its balanced approach to regional and global developments.

Anwar Gargash said the UAE, through its leadership, vision, and balanced approach, has strengthened its position as an influential and constructive regional and global actor. He added that the country has been able to turn challenges into opportunities while building a developmental and civilisational model based on openness, tolerance, and sustainable partnerships.

He added that the UAE’s experience is founded on conscious leadership, strategic independence, economic openness, and investment in people and future-focused sectors.

Despite ongoing regional and global challenges, he said the UAE has demonstrated strong readiness and deep national cohesion, and will continue to move forward confidently toward greater progress and prosperity.

Anwar Gargash concluded by emphasising the role of youth in the country’s next phase of development, describing them as key partners in preserving national achievements and advancing the UAE’s progress.

The session was attended by Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Federal Youth Authority Director Khaled Mohammed Al Nuaimi, and Mohammed Ibrahim Al Dhaheri, along with Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre Director-General Salem Humaid Al Marri, and astronauts Hazzaa Al Mansoori, Nora Al Matrooshi, and Mohammed Al Mulla.

More than 150 young Emiratis attended the event, held at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy.

Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi said the UAE has maintained a consistent national approach for over five decades, built on a clear vision and firm principles, while also remaining flexible and adaptive in responding to change and preparing for the future.

He said the country’s balanced positions reflect the wisdom of its leadership and have helped establish a strong and sustainable presence at both regional and global levels, grounded in investment in people as the foundation of development and a central pillar of national policy.

“This has contributed to consolidating an integrated model that combines sound judgement with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances,” he said.

Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi added that the “100 Mentors” session with Anwar Gargash carried significant intellectual value for young people, given the depth of insight and experience it provided. He said it helps strengthen youth awareness of national responsibilities and the importance of their role in protecting society and preserving its achievements.

He also noted that individual awareness remains a key pillar of national stability and the continuity of the UAE’s development journey.
