Dubai: UAE travellers experiencing unexpected flight delays can now receive temporary support in Dubai. Palazzo Versace Dubai has announced it is offering a complimentary stay, including breakfast, to stranded travellers.

This offer is subject to availability and confirmation of travel status. The initiative comes as flight disruptions continue across the region.

In a statement, the hotel said it aims to support travellers facing unexpected delays. The team is also in close contact with UAE authorities and continues to follow official guidance to ensure the safety and well-being of both guests and staff.

Palazzo Versace Dubai is fully operational and ready to provide comfort and assistance to travellers during this period. Guests in need of support are encouraged to contact the hotel directly at +971 4 556 8888 or via reservations@palazzoversace.ae.

Additionally, hotels in Abu Dhabi and Dubai have been instructed to extend stays for guests unable to travel due to the ongoing flight disruptions.

The Abu Dhabi government has confirmed it will cover the cost of additional nights for travellers affected by flight disruptions. The directive, issued through a formal circular by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, signals a coordinated effort to protect international visitors and ensure travellers are not left without accommodation.

By contrast, Dubai hotels have been instructed to charge guests for additional stays, according to hotel sources.

Meanwhile, limited flight operations are gradually resuming at UAE airports, as the US–Israel–Iran conflict and its regional repercussions enter their fourth day. Authorities and airlines continue to urge passengers not to travel unless they have received direct confirmation from their airline.
