Everything you need to know about Primark’s Dubai Mall debut, plus the opening dates of its other UAE stores.

Dubai: Attention bargain hunters across the UAE! Global retail giant Primark, famous for its budget-friendly fashion, is set to open its doors at Dubai Mall on March 26, 2026.
Following that, the retailer confirmed on its official Instagram that Mirdif City Centre will welcome shoppers in April 2026, with a Mall of the Emirates store opening slated for May 2026.
Primark’s upcoming launch is among the most anticipated store openings of the year.
The beloved Irish retailer, famed for its wallet-friendly fashion and homeware, partnered with the retail giant Alshaya Group to open multiple stores across Dubai in early 2026 — and they’re delivering on that promise.
Where is Primark opening in Dubai?
Shoppers can soon explore racks of affordable basics, trendy fashion, and home essentials at Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and City Centre Mirdif — marking Primark’s first stores in the UAE.
The initial announcement came in May 2025, with the brand confirming openings in early 2026. Visitors to the three Dubai malls can already spot signs hinting at Primark’s upcoming launch.
Will UAE Primark stores be affordable?
Alshaya Group CEO John Hadden revealed on Virgin Radio Dubai’s Kris Fade Show in 2025 that Primark would maintain its signature low prices in the UAE. That means shoppers can expect jeans starting at just Dh50 and basic t-shirts for Dh15.
Primark in Kuwait
Before its UAE debut, Primark opened its first Middle East store at The Avenues Mall, Kuwait, in October 2025, marking the brand’s regional entry.
What is Primark?
Founded in Dublin over 50 years ago, Primark has grown to more than 450 stores across Europe and the U.S. Its expansion into the UAE marks a major milestone in the brand’s global growth — and a big win for budget-conscious shoppers in the region.
Get ready, Dubai — fast fashion just got a lot more exciting.
More new stores in the UAE
Beyond Primark, Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS opened its first Middle East store at Mall of the Emirates at the end of 2025.
The UAE is also set to welcome a number of new malls in the near future, offering even more shopping destinations for residents and tourists alike.
