The RTA has announced changes to paid public parking hours for the month of Ramadan.
According to a statement, the Roads and Transport Authority confirmed that the parking tariff will be divided into two time slots. The first period will run from 8 AM to 6 PM, while the second will cover 8 PM to midnight. This creates a two-hour window between 6 PM and 8 PM when parking will be free.
Multi-storey parking facilities will remain open 24/7 throughout Ramadan.
The holy month officially began on Wednesday, February 18, following the sighting of the crescent moon by the UAE’s Moon Sighting Committee on Tuesday, February 17.
The RTA has also confirmed the operational hours for public transport across the city. The Dubai Metro’s Red and Green lines will continue to run on their usual schedule.
The Dubai Tram will maintain its regular hours, operating 6 AM to 1 AM from Monday to Saturday, and 9 AM to 1 AM on Sundays.
Ramadan, which is expected to end on Thursday, March 19, will bring a range of temporary changes across Dubai in 2026.
