The project also includes 2 km of dedicated cycling tracks, encouraging healthy lifestyles and the use of sustainable, soft-mobility options.

Construction on Dubai’s Al Rowaiyah Street has been completed, connecting four key areas: Nadd Hessa residential area, Dubai International Academic City, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Warsan 4.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) confirmed that the 3.5-km road now provides a direct link between Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street near Dubai Silicon Oasis and Nadd Hessa
The project also involved upgrading the existing Knowledge and Human Development Authority roundabout on Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street—near Dubai International Academic City, Nadd Hessa, and Dubai Silicon Oasis—into a signalised intersection to improve traffic safety.
The project further included 2 km of dedicated cycling tracks, aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging the use of soft mobility options.
The project boosts traffic capacity on Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street by up to 40% and cuts travel time to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from 10 minutes to 4 minutes, a 60% reduction.
These upgrades are designed to improve traffic flow and mobility across the area and are projected to benefit over 80,000 residents by 2030.
