Lulu Retail Reports Record 2025 Revenue, Plans 50 New GCC Stores

Lulu Reta1111il Holdings, the region’s largest pan-GCC full-line retailer, plans to open 50 new outlets between 2026 and 2028 as it posted record revenues of Dh29.1 billion in 2025, up 4.1% from the previous year.

The growth was driven by store expansion and strong e-commerce performance across the GCC.

📍 Store Network & Expansion

  • 20 new stores opened in 2025, taking the total store count to 267 by year-end.
  • Expansion included hypermarkets, express stores, and mini markets across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
  • The 50 new outlets planned by 2028 are expected to create hundreds of job opportunities across the GCC.

💰 Financial Performance

  • Net profit: Dh753 million, slightly above Q3 guidance.
  • Dividend: Second-half dividend of 3.5 fils per share, bringing the total 2025 dividend to 7 fils per share (~Dh724 million).

🌐 E-Commerce & Digital Growth

  • E-commerce sales grew 38.6% year-on-year, accelerating to 51.8% in Q4.
  • Online penetration reached 7.3% of total retail sales in Q4.
  • Sales through Lulu’s proprietary digital platform grew nearly twice as fast as aggregator channels.

🏷️ Product & Debt Highlights

  • Private label products now account for 29.8% of total sales, boosting revenue and margins.
  • Net debt reduced slightly to Dh9.18 billion, with improved leverage on an IFRS 16 basis.

Lulu Retail’s results underline its strong market position, growing digital presence, and continued expansion strategy across the GCC.
