Fog disrupts travel: Authorities warn of poor visibility on key roads

Date:

Expect humid nights and morning mist along the coast, accompanied by gentle to moderate winds

Dubai: The UAE is expected to experience generally fair to partly cloudy weather from Tuesday through Saturday, with humid nights, a risk of fog or mist in coastal and inland areas, and gradually rising temperatures, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said.

In its Tuesday bulletin, the NCM noted that conditions would be fair to partly cloudy, with low clouds forming eastward. Humidity is expected to increase overnight into Wednesday morning, bringing a chance of fog or mist in some coastal and interior areas. Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally freshening, with seas remaining slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Coastal and inland areas are expected to see temperatures between 30 and 32°C, while mountainous regions will range from 17 to 22°C. Winds will remain light for most of the day, occasionally picking up to 30–35 km/h.

Wednesday to Saturday forecast

The NCM predicts fair to partly cloudy skies from Wednesday through Saturday, with temperatures rising on Wednesday and nights and early mornings remaining humid. Fog or mist is possible on several days, particularly over coastal areas and islands. Winds are expected to remain light to moderate, while seas stay slight.
