The world’s largest international airline has announced new daily flights to a top Asian capital city.
Emirates will expand its operations between Dubai and Tokyo, the capital of Japan, from Friday May 1.
Named the ‘world’s most desirable city‘, Tokyo is an incredibly popular destination among Dubai travellers. With it being home to the world’s coolest neighbourhood, endless cultural hotspots and some of the best food you can think of, it’s easy to see why.
Flight EK320 will take off daily from Dubai International Airport to Tokyo Narita International Airport, the city’s secondary international airport, at 10.30pm GST and arrive at 1.30pm JST.
And the return service, EK321, will leave Tokyo Narita at 9.30pm JST and arrive in Dubai at 3.50am GST the following day.
This will be Emirates‘ second daily flight to Tokyo Narita and its fourth overall to Japan – with the airline also flying to Osaka and Tokyo Haneda.
Eastbound passengers on the additional Narita service will arrive in the afternoon, supporting stronger domestic connectivity and shorter connection times from key European and Middle Eastern markets.
Westbound travellers departing from Tokyo Narita will benefit from an early-morning arrival in Dubai, enabling seamless onward connections to major destinations across Europe, Africa and South America, including Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Brazil.
From May 1, Emirates will offer more than 22,500 weekly seats to and from Japan across 28 weekly flights serving three gateways.
With the deployment of a refurbished Boeing 777-300ER on flights EK320/321 to Tokyo Narita, the airline aims to offer a consistent travel experience for its customers in Japan.
Travellers will have access to 260 of the latest-generation Economy seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, 40 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, and eight First Class Suites.
The onboard experience is rounded off with a regionally-inspired cuisine featuring Japanese dishes such as a Kaiseki meal tray.
